When I first became consciously aware of the energetic nature of life, it was as if a whole new world just opened up to me. The world of energy and thought and vibration, an invisible realm that precedes the coming into form, the stuff of life out of which everything we know is made. .. ancient memories stirred to awaken within me and I came alive with the recognition of this larger context for life!
Instruction in energy work began with a basic level course in Healing Touch in 1998. My life began to rearrange itself around this new passion and by 2001 I had completed certification as a Healing Touch Practitioner, been immersed in three levels of Reiki, and was discovering my beloved affinity with the sacred healing art of Attunement.
Attunement is a word that is also applied to Reiki initiations. It is a beautiful word! I have loved following a deep pull to practice and embody the art of Attunement as a particular spiritual technology of its own. It has offered me a beautiful and natural way of growing into harmony with the Source of my existence and also sharing that capacity with others.

After studying and practicing Attunement for three years in Loveland, Colorado, my husband Jim and I felt clearly guided to replant ourselves in Conway, Arkansas. I delight to find myself in a community of kindred souls and am blessed to meet people at the level of their essential goodness. I readily offer my healing gifts through my Attunement practice, LumenEssence: True to the Light Within, centered in a welcoming Sanctuary space behind our home.
Part of my own deep knowing that has awakened into greater awareness has to do with the all-embracing divine design of life. I see that every living being participates in a grand interrelated Whole. Each of us humans carry particular seeds of brilliance that, when nurtured into the fullness of expression, contribute to a harmonious and unified Oneness. Like inspired choreography, the highest expression of our creative diversity adds new grace and purpose and ease and beauty to life.Attunement has supported me and countless others to let the radiation of this brilliant Love bring healing to body, mind and heart by releasing the constrictions to let our light shine.
I'm feeling a rising expectancy around the immense potential for humanity's breakthrough to this Divine Dance of Life in at this extraordinary time in history. My work is about opening to the radiant presence of Love within for individual and planetary transformation.
