“Everything you have clung to throughout time has gotten you to this point.
Now fall through the point!”

~Gangaji

Summer Solstice 2010
Hello Friends,

Greetings on this warm and spacious day…are you too feeling the heat of a growing intensity as well as an opening up to something brand new?

When I came across the above quote by Gangaji a while back, I thought, “That’s it! What a great description of what’s being asked of us right now!” I’ve been feeling a enormous pull to experience the freedom of letting go.

So, I’ve been letting go of things I’ve long clung to…heirlooms, letters, journals…grievances, beliefs, expectations…and with that has come a sense of leaving everything behind to make room for something new. I’ve felt a deep readiness and a drive to give myself up to some wholly new adventure. It has been an interesting time in our household! In fact, it seemed we were to give the house up as well and we began plans for letting go of our wonderful house and Sanctuary and moving on...free falling into some new life.

Funny, now we’re letting go of our new plans too and have made a commitment to just be still and drop into a deeper listening about what in the world is happening with us.

In my meditation this morning I felt everything changing. I felt that the change underway is so much bigger than any of us, so much more than moving from one place to another and so beyond our current thinking and imagining. I felt that letting go and relaxing and going with this river of change could be an amazing joy ride! And that clinging to the signposts we’ve known before could make an inevitable ride incredibly painful. It seems that change is happening. How are we responding? Clinging even tighter? Or letting go for the free fall? How much trust do we have in an underlying Design of Life?

At present, I am in Conway and gladly continuing to offer Attunement sessions as well as Integrated Counseling and Energy sessions in our Attunement Sanctuary here. Assisting each other to discover and attune to our own deepest knowings offers our best guidance forward. I would love to connect with you in this spacious, intense summer season!

NEW: Integrated Counseling and Energy Sessions, together with Pat Bradley, LPC
Many of you already know Pat Bradley from her years here as a local professional counselor and dream circle facilitator…and perhaps she’s your holistic veterinarian! The two of us are now offering joint sessions. These are special times of personalized energetic support for improved health and well-being through deep relaxation, imagery and dreamwork. Your body is your guide. These integrated sessions provide a gentle and effective entryway to the peace and particular guidance that can be accessed within each person. The fee is currently $120 for an hour session.

Dream Work 101: Another wonderful opportunity with Pat Bradley happening this Sunday, June 27:
Held at Anne Avant’s fantastic Cedar Rock Yoga Studio, this workshop will be from 1-4:30 pm.
“There exists in every person a place that is free from disease, that never feels pain, and that cannot age and die. When you go to this place, limitations which all of us accept cease to exist…Visits to this place may be brief, or may last for many years. Even the briefest visits, however, instill a profound change. As long as you are there, the assumptions that hold true for ordinary existence are altered, and the possibility of a new existence, higher and more ideal, begins to flower.”

- Deepak Chopra, M.D., Perfect Health

April 2010
Hello Friends,

The group of us who came together weekly for the “Transformation Tuesday” series here in March had a great time! And we found that going to this core place in us was, indeed, transformational. Every interior visit seemed to give more nourishment to our emerging butterfly selves.

Events here at the Attunement Sanctuary in Conway are expressly for visiting the Light Within and opening to the heightened awareness and natural flowering that this reunion brings. I’m delighted to share more transformative opportunities offered for the month of April!

NEW: Integrated Counseling and Energy Sessions, together with Pat Bradley, LPC
Many of you already know Pat Bradley from her years here as a local professional counselor and dream circle facilitator…and perhaps she’s your holistic veterinarian! These integrated sessions, introduced in the last month, have provided a gentle and effective entryway to the peace and particular guidance that can be accessed within each person. Sessions are held at the Attunement Sanctuary and scheduled through me by phone or email. The fee is currently $120 for an hour session.

Group Healing Session with Dr. Dan Matthews on April 28, 6:30-9:00
If you’d like to be in on an evening of heightened vibrational world blessing, mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 28! Two years ago, Dan Matthews spoke here of the BIG picture of paradigm changes underway on planet Earth and demonstrated to us the gift of healing that he received several years ago in a near-death experience. This month, Dr. Matthews returns to share his current understanding of the significance of these times and to lead us in a unique and powerful “Group Healing Session”. The configuration of participants gathered will determine the healing work to be done through us. Recent group healings in Texas and New Mexico have prepared the way for this. By adding your Presence, you give and receive a blessing. A love donation of $35 is requested. *Kindly RSVP if you plan on coming.

Personal Attunement Energy Sessions
Attunement sessions are absolutely wonderful at facilitating “visits to this place” in us which Dr. Chopra eloquently describes in the quote above. Opening more fully to the radiant presence of Love within, we rise above limitations and connect with the power and freedom of that which is calling us forth. Is this what is next for you? Attunement sessions can be scheduled by phone or email. I would welcome such a time together.

Blessings on all that is transforming in and through you,
Pamela

The following is an excerpt from a larger article called "Just Say Yes" that appeared in the March 2010 issue of our local Natural Awakenings magazine. The article covered four "agents of positive change" in central Arkansas. The overall theme of the issue was on Inspired Change and Sacred Activism. I was so glad to be included with the likes of Terri Menefee of Artchurch Studio in Hot Springs, Sandra Leyva and Shawn Giocoechea of La Lucha Space in Conway, and Nao Ueda of Little Rock.

Natural Awakenings is distributed free all over Central Arkanasas. It's helping us awaken, naturally.

From page 11 of that issue:

While Hot Springs may be known for its galleries and arts community, the city of Conway is becoming a place where progressive people meet to solve problems and exchange ideas related to sustainability. Pamela Mosley, a Certified Advanced Attunement Practitioner and Conway resident, is a fervent supporter of the group now known as Sustainable Faulkner County and its innovative “Open Space Forums.”

Sustainable Faulkner County, a volunteer group that seeks to “work in partnership, united for the purpose of discovering ways to build and nurture sustainable communities,” is currently working with Hendrix College and local government to encourage sustainability.

The annual forums, led by professional Open Space Technology facilitator Michael Vinson, have taken place since 2007 and were inspired by Dr. David Korten, best-selling author of “The Great Turning.” The premise of open space meetings that welcome people of all walks of life, Pamela explains, is that “deep wisdom and unlimited creativity can come from any gathering of people who come together with the intention of thoughtful, heart-full listening, sharing and imagining around a particular issue or concern.”

Already, Conway’s Open Space Forums are bearing fruit: Mayor Tab Townsell says, “It was in a breakout session at the fall forum that we first got the idea for revolving loan programs for homeowners’ energy efficient improvements and for new homes built to Energy Star certification.” Approved by the Conway City Council last June, the programs are now awaiting Department of Energy grant funding. Other new initiatives begun by “action groups” within the context of the forums include work with organic local agriculture, biking in Conway, clean energy and green building.

In her work, detailed online at TrueToTheLightWithin.com, Pamela experiences the healing results of attuning the body’s energies; it is a natural progression to extend that process to the community and the world.

“I sense a process of self-awakening underway that opens us to perceive and experience ourselves as particular expressions of one interrelated whole,” Pamela explains. “When we come ‘in tune’ with who we are and our vital contributions to life, we're on the way to building a healthy, sustainable world that works for everyone.”

The Holy Days, or holidays are for that – we get permission to express from a deeper place. And it feels good because that’s what is natural to us."

“I have found that slowing down, taking some time out, removing myself from that which causes me stress is helpful in remembering who I am at the deepest level. In this last month, I’ve been dancing (literally!) to new verses of my lifebird’s song. It’s like I’m experiencing my next level of freedom. Others around me have been describing times of change - breakdowns and breakthroughs – that open their cage door to the singing, hidden in visible matter. When you pay attention, what do you hear?

True to Your Light Within: Personal Energy Sessions
Dancing to new verses of my song has taken my Attunement work to a new level! It seems that as we are all shifting and changing, our capacity for energetic connection has heightened. “I’m feeling the energy more than I ever have before” has been a common response to these new sessions.

In celebration and gratitude, I am glad to offer hour-long sessions at a “pick your price” fee for the month of December! If you’re feeling ready for clearer, more balanced energy so that your own song can be heard, please give yourself the gift of a personal energy session this month. And, because our energy affects all those around us … it ends up being a gift all the way around.

Sessions can be scheduled by phone or email.
This interview was posted on Neo Ueda's wonderful blog, GreenAR by the Day, http://greenarbytheday.wordpress.com - check it out!

Meet Local Green Peeps!
February 11, 2009

Chances are, if you are reading this blog, you support green causes. You go to meetings, you visit local farmers’ markets, and soon you start running into familiar faces. You know their names, but have you ever wondered what they do to be GreenAR? Well, Meet Local Green Peeps! hopes to satisfy your curiosity about area green people and what they do to be GreenAR in the Natural State. So, without further ado, let’s get started!

Vital Statistics (Name & Location):

Pamela Mosley
1260 Hunter Street
Conway, AR 72032
(501)450-9097 (501)450-9097
www.truetothelightwithin.com
www.ournaturalstate.com
www.fcssc.net

What Do You Do? I co-create with the flow of Life! I hold a vision, nurture seeds, encourage, empower, help people remember who they are, and help see a new era into being. I do that as an Attunement practitioner and sustainability activist.

Steps Taken to be GreenAR:

Spending time outside relating to my natural environment, like walking and biking around town (my bike has 4 baskets now, so I can even grocery shop), hanging clothes to dry, tending to the growing things (I’m a new raised-bed gardener!), watching nature happen.

I generally buy thrift, local, recycled, organic, fair-trade, nontoxic, or long-lasting, high quality. Or I don’t buy at all. I’ve found our county library to be very receptive to new book suggestions, the local resale shops and “free” listings in the classifieds are great, and we love supporting our local farmers through Conway Locally Grown and the Conway Basket-a-Month program. We’ve found great used building materials, including stained-glass doors for my backyard Sanctuary!

At home, we’re always finding more ways to be energy efficient. When we needed a new roof, we vented it, and when we needed a new refrigerator, we found one with a high energy-star rating. We replaced our ancient water heater with an on-demand model that heats water in a small tank as it’s needed. We’ve been experimenting with a new (used) wood-burning stove, and, with the federal subsidy help, we’ve got 5 solar panels tied in to Conway Corp’s energy grid. We watch the thermostat, heat and cool rooms as needed, use electric powerstrips and low-energy lights, and wash laundry cold.

We consolidate errands that need a car-trip and share the ride to glass-recycling in Maumelle with a neighbor. (Fortunately, Conway offers curb-side recycling pick-up for most everything else, which now also including styrofoam, #1-7 plastics and even old clothes.) I’ve been eating less meat and not ordering meat at restaurants that don’t buy organic. We compost our leaves and kitchen scraps in our backyard compost bin and keep re-usable bags handy for groceries.

In the last year or so, I’ve chosen to travel by bus and have made trips to Iowa, Minnesota, and Virginia on the Jefferson and Greyhound lines. I look forward to continued improvements in the bus system and/or when megabus.com makes it to Arkansas!

I support events like Arkansas Earth Day and the Faulkner County Sustainability Forums, publications like Natural Awakenings and YES! Magazine, and networking opportunities like Conway Green Drinks and SustainAR.org. I’ve been communicating with my elected officials about things like the proposed coal-burning power plant, “Green for All” ideas, and the sale of raw milk.

And I’m getting better at not “shoulding” on myself and others! So beyond the 3 R’s of reduce, reuse and recycle, I enjoy retreat, relinquish, re-envision, reconnect, restore, relax, and reclaim!

Hard-to-Take Steps:

I enjoy engaging in a multitude of creative endeavors and can be challenged to do that at a level and pace that remains energizing! I would do well to have computer-free days, more art time, and Clean and Repair Parties.

I’ve been intending to take reusable containers to restaurants for carry-out and haven’t remembered yet.

I love very full, very hot baths, even in a drought.

I gave up on ink cartridge refills for my computer because of some messy trials a few years ago. Maybe it’s time to try that again.

I’d like to be a better steward of summertime vegetables and learn to “put food by”, but I’ve been saying that for many years now.

Email is great AND I still like to actually send things in the mail, sometimes big things… sometimes just for fun.

Future Steps to be GreenAR:

I’m so interested in a water catchment system at our house and have started gathering information about that. We’re slowly turning our front yard into a front garden space, and I plan to keep replacing grass with natives and edibles with curb appeal.

When it comes time to replace our ’91 Toyota, we’ll be on the lookout for a hybrid or electric. And maybe we can share a vehicle with another household.

In fact, I’m envisioning some type of co-housing arrangement where we can share meals, resources, and lives. I want to support a storefront food co-op in Conway, maybe also serving as a community meeting/sharing/learning space that will help us discover and communicate about more harmonious ways of living. I wonder about a community barter system and/or a local currency.

And I want to try cooking and baking in a solar oven.

Favorite AR Produce, Businesses & Groups:

We love anything that Sue and Rusty Nuffer grow, and we love that we can order it easily through http://conway.locallygrown.net. Favorite chickens and eggs are from Falling Sky Farm. We like the fun and healthy surprises in our All Arkansas baskets. Our own dear pecan trees were so wonderful to us and to the neighborhood squirrels this year. And sourdough spelt bread from a wood-fired oven at Serenity Farm is an all-time favorite.

Penny Rudder’s Clean Plate Club has been a great service. She’s in Little Rock, and every week she emails recipes and meal ideas for the local foods in season. She’s at www.naturalfoodscooking.com.

Liz’s Health Market on Oak Street in Conway has been so receptive to special ordering items not in stock, making it easier for me to shop local.

Companions Thrift Store on Washington Street in Conway seems to always have quality goods at great prices, and with all the proceeds going to the Humane Society, I can imagine my shopping as community service!

I’ve met some great people through Arkansas Earth Institute’s discussion courses and look forward to taking more.

If You Can Do One Thing to Make the Natural State Even More Natural, What Would You Do? I would give everyone the opportunity to slow down and deeply experience the absolute awe of the amazing, beautiful and interconnected web of life. Then, our choices might shift from the present artificial, conventional, unsustainable ways toward brand new choices in accordance with nature and with what is natural to each of us and the unfolding of life.

I was honored to be named one of “Ten Women to Watch in 2010” in the September 2009 issue of Women’s Inc.magazine! With thanks to whomever may have nominated me, here is an excerpt from the resulting article.

www.womensinc.net/node/289

Pamela Mosley

Contribution to Profession
In Pamela’s line of work, her intent is to live ever more “in tune” and in harmony with the deepest truth she can access. She offers personal Attunement sessions in a sanctuary space that caters to discovering harmony. According to Pamela, in these sessions, life force energy is radiated into the world and contributes to peace on all levels.
Recently, her essay titled, “Who Do You Think You Are?” was published in the anthology, Conscious Choices: An Evolutionary Woman’s Guide to Life, a further contribution to the field of Attunement. Check out www.evolutionarywomen.org for more information about the guide.

Public and Community Service
Two years ago, Pamela committed to hosting the internationally known global awareness author and speaker, David Korten. Desiring to serve the community and share Korten’s “Great Turning” vision, $2000 was raised and over 100 people got involved. The original group later became the Faulkner County Supporters of Sustainable Communities (FCSSC). Now over 400 people are part of the group and plans are underway for their third Sustainability Forum this fall.

Creation and Implementation of unique initiative in the workplace or community
In 2009, Pamela has been part of a co-creative team to offer a new eco-spiritual initiative in central Arkansas. The initiative is called Our Natural State. The team organizes “seasonal outings and sacred sojourns to help participants experience a reconnection with the power and beauty of the divine nature within and all around us.”

Mentoring others
Pamela encourages creative expression and believes her encouragement will effect future generations. She is also involved in mentoring others, including:
• Raising her two sons
• Introducing “earth listening” to area preschoolers
• Offering grade-school summer activities for Young Leaders
• Being a guest presenter at college religion classes and encouraging FCSSC leadership
• Founded a high school organization in Austin, Texas, 10 years ago that recently received national attention for its successful presence in Austin high schools. The organization encourages students to discover and trust their own inner direction to offer their gifts into the world.
Pamela is an Attunement Practitioner and the only one practicing it in Arkansas.. She describes what she does by saying, “It’s a particular way of working with life force energy to bring balance and harmony to body, mind, and heart for myself and my clients.” Although her sessions are one-on-one, she involves herself with the community to encourage and empower whole-self participation as a harmonious way of life on the planet. Next year she will be involved with Humanity Unites Brilliance (HUB) and is hoping to increase local participation in the organization. Pamela also said she is going to explore ideas about bartering and local currency, freely rest as needed, and dance with the changes! She reminds herself often, “Life can be trusted.” Put simply, “I live by this process of letting go and being awed by the infinite creativity of life.”

Conscious Choices: An Evolutionary Woman’s Guide to Life is a light-filled book! A collaborative outworking of women telling their stories of personal awakening and empowerment. I've loved being a participant in the international group “Evolutionary Women” and the story I wrote, “Who Do You Think You Are?” was one of many that emerged in our co-creative process of sisters sharing from the heart to produce this 2008 release.

Each account is a personal story of a woman awakening to embody new and fuller aspects of herself. Together the stories reveal how wide-ranging life experiences can become doorways into new modes of living and relating that ripple out beyond one’s immediate life and have an effect on our collective planetary experience.

From the back cover:
Every choice you make has an impact; an impact that ripples beyond your immediate life and has an effect on the world. Conscious Choices shares the inspirational stories of 44 Evolutionary Women who realize the impact of their choices, and have leveraged their life experience (both tragic and triumphant) to make choices that contribute to the creation of a world that works for everyone.

You may be asking, What is an Evolutionary Woman? An Evolutionary Woman is you. They are mothers and teachers, bank presidents and artists, entrepreneurs and healers, and so much more. According to Barbara Marx Hubbard, President of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution, an Evolutionary Woman is: One who is connected through the heart to the whole of life, attuned to the deeper intelligence of nature, called forth irresistibly by spirit to creatively express her gifts in the evolution of the self and the World.

The stories revealed by evolutionary women in this book will make you laugh, cry, believe, pray, relate, heal and feel a part of something much larger than yourself. Inside this book, you'll: Discover the power and resilience inside every woman, including you; Feel supported through the ups and downs of your journey through life; Gain insight on how to make conscious choices everyday; Discover how to make a difference in the world simply by living your life to the fullest - And much more!

www.evolutionarywomen.org- Copies of the book are available through me for $15 + postage as well as through this website. I hope you enjoy the book!
